100% Pure African Shea Butter Review #adovia

In the past I have reviewed Shea butter this is from a different company. This time I got to try out Cleopatra's Choice 100% pure African Shea butter. Upon first examination I like that it comes in a cute little container that I can easily store when not in use. It's got a label right on top that even helps you to know some things it's good for. Like other Shea butter's this is a soft butter which does melt easily in the hand. This time I decided to go a different route and instead of doing a hair treatment I decided to give some DIY projects a try. The first one I did was make lotion bars the recipe I used was beeswax, shea butter and coconut oil, and 15 drops of essential oil. It is so easy you have to melt down the beeswax, shea butter and coconut oil then once they are in liquid form you mix in the drops of essential oil and pour into whatever molds you are using. I don't think I will ever buy lotion again! This is now my go to! Best of all even the kids have fun helping out. I have a pregnant friend and I plan on making her a bunch to use to prevent stretch marks.

The 100% Pure African Shea Butter overall is a great buy and worth every penny. My one downside is I don't like the smell. I know it's unscented but when I sniff the product in the container before adding anything to it I smell something, and it's not appealing! I can't put my finger or well nose on it to pin point the exact smell I am smelling but I do not care for it. I might just be overly sensitive to smells so it's just me because my kids don't seem to notice it and once I mix other ingredients into it I no longer smell it.
